II. HOW TO PREPARE
There are two common types of seaweed: fresh seaweed and salted seaweed, which are slightly different in the preparation process. You can also process seaweed into many different dishes.
1. How to prepare
• Fresh seaweed: For fresh seaweed, you should enjoy the sea grapes after they have been washed in water. If not washed, the taste may be too salty (the average salt concentration in Vietnam is 3%).
• Dried seaweed: With salted seaweed, first, open the bag, remove the seaweed, put it in a bowl of clean water, soak for about 3 minutes, the seaweed will slowly expand and become fresh again. Then take the seaweed out, drain the water and put it in a bowl.
You can eat it with soy sauce by dipping it in soy sauce and eating it. Do not mix the seaweed with soy sauce, it will shrink.
